Description

Six Sigma is one of the most important strategy frameworks of our times. Six Sigma (6σ) offers a set of techniques and tools for 

• Cost reduction
• Customer Satisfaction Enhancement
• Productivity improvement
• Quality or process improvement

process improvement. It was introduced by American engineer Bill Smith while working at Motorola in 1986. GE's CEO Jack Welch made it central to his business strategy at General Electric in 1995. A six sigma process is one in which 99.99966% of all opportunities to produce some feature of a part are statistically expected to be free of defects.

In the yellow belt program, we cover the DMAIC framework that is used to solve problems.

The yellow belt program is not a 'tools-heavy' program.

Certification:

After completing this program, you will receive a course completion certificate. A yellow belt certification will be awarded after submission of a project by the learner.
